For those of you who have read a good number of my posts, you have discovered that the explanations of reality in our modern world are enormously erroneous. From the big bang, to astronomy, to biological evolution, plate tectonics, deep time and all of our religious persuasions, nothing is reasonable, only poorly rational, most often based on unfounded assumptions and held together on untestable presumptions.
The big bang explains nothing except that time had a beginning. It does not explain the existence of matter, the forces of nature, the formation of stars or solar systems, the structure of space and matter, or any of the fundamental laws of the universe. It depends on irrational beliefs about something from nothing, ignores the basic requirement for a first cause, demands that evidence of metaphysical signals of an intelligence at hand be substituted for myths like dark matter and dark energies, and ignores the reality that the Universe is proof that we are the center of it all.
Astronomy depends on the absurdities of gas condensation in the vacuum of space, ignores facts that neither explosions or annular momentum can account for the motion of planets, stars, solar systems, galaxies, clusters or superclusters, let alone the existence of the concentric walls of galaxies that are found distributed throughout observable space. It postulates collisions that are assumed to have occurred that account for nearly 90% of the oddities that exist in space. From our singular moon, to the rotations of Neptune and Venus; collisions of near perfect impacts of mass and velocity are invoked to account for facts that speak volumes about things far more metaphysical.
Evolution is not supported in any real way except the minor fluctuations in population genetics that, under natural selection, assures the continuation of the species, certainly not the transmutation of the species. Volumes are written but the facts are always presumed as evidence within the paradigm of evolution, and never actually evidence for evolution. Molecular studies have proven many times over that there is no credible proof of the relatedness of species (except in the obvious similarities in general appearances that cannot be proven to be related genetically, developmentally or hereditarily.
From cosmology to plate tectonics to “end of the world” horror stories, human sciences should not be accepted as conclusions but only poor attempts by prejudiced humans to reason an existence without depending on any sort of metaphysics … unless it is invoked to support a purely materialistic progression of things.
Sadly, religion does no better.
A study of the history of the Jews should lead one to understand that when God added “religion” to the covental requirements God placed on his people to abide by, it was to be temporary and not permanent. It is understood that for 1500 years the Jews worshipped through the outward adorning of garments, baptisms, bloody sacrifices, incense, and offerings to a priesthood with the expectation that a future “messiah” would replace all these trappings for the fulness of a relationship with their God. But when the time came for this messiah to enter their world and fulfill their expectations, they murdered him. He came to fulfill what their laws required, in particular, their moral laws and this was to free them from the burden of religion. Even death could not keep their savior from accomplishing what God had planned and within a generation, the whole world learned of the new and living way that all mankind could engage in. Love was the answer. Love one another. Love your enemy. Love those who persecute you. Love your children. Love your parents. Love your neighbor as yourself.
